Battery replacements available

Bloatphobic. Geek Garage can take care of a bloating battery before it pops. We can also replace batteries that are not holding a charge as well as they used to. Don’t let them pop.

HDMI Port Replacement: $180

Specialized Micro Soldering Repair. This repair includes a deep cleaning, thermal paste replacement, and the HDMI port replacement, naturally. HDMI port replacements require soldering, and sometimes damage is so severe that we cannot fix display issues. For this reason, a $90 non-refundable deposit is required to begin work.

Console Deep Cleaning: $120 – $140

Keep it cool. Prices vary depending on the device, but we strip the console down to its bones and clean every last crevice, as well as replace thermal compound.

If you’re experiencing any other type of issue, such as a disk drive problem or power issue, we can check it out and get you a quote for how much it will cost to fix.

Data Transfers Starting at $80/Device

We can transfer data from one device to another. $80 includes the service, but if a destination drive or computer is needed, Geek Garage can provide an appropriately sized device for an additional fee.

Data Recovery (In-House) Starts at $175 

We offer in-house data recovery for failing hard drives. $80 is required up-front as a nonrefundable deposit for the data recovery attempt. If data is recoverable in-shop, a destination drive or computer will be needed, and Geek Garage can provide an appropriately sized device for an additional fee if one is not provided.

Data Recovery (Forensic Level) Starts at $800 

We work with a data recovery partner that provides forensic level data recovery for drives that are beyond Geek Garage’s in-house repair. This level of data recovery often requires 2-3 weeks of time to complete, and will be quoted based on how badly damaged the device is. This type of recovery is only available for spinning hard disk drives (computer hard drives). 

In-Shop Help Desk – $90/Hour

It’s pretty difficult to navigate technology when you didn’t grow up with it. We hear that one a lot, but not to worry, we’re here to help you navigate and troubleshoot basic issues with our help desk services.

House Calls – $100/Hour (One Hour Minimum)

From printers that don’t want to print casserole recipes anymore to shotty internet, we can help get your tech working again at your home by scheduling a house call. We are available for house call scheduling from 10:30AM – 4:00PM. Any destination outside of the 15 mile radius of Cheyenne will incur a time and milage fee.
